Data We Collect

Health Data (Steps)

GYAM reads your step count from Apple HealthKit to determine if you've reached your daily goal. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers.

App Usage Data

GYAM uses Apple's Screen Time API to block apps you select. We do not collect or transmit information about which apps you block or use.

Instagram Username (Optional)

If you use the accountability feature, you may provide your Instagram username. This is stored locally on your device and used solely to verify story posts for accountability purposes.

Personal identification information
Location data
Contacts or photos
Browsing history
Analytics or tracking data

Data Storage

All your settings, goals, and progress are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not operate user accounts or cloud sync services.

Third-Party Services

GYAM integrates with:

Apple HealthKit - To read step count data (on-device only)
Apple Screen Time - To block selected apps (on-device only)
Instagram - Optional, for accountability story sharing

We do not share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

GYAM is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
