Frequently Asked Questions

How do I grant permissions?

GYAM needs Screen Time and Health permissions. Go to Settings → Screen Time → enable Screen Time, then allow GYAM to manage restrictions. For Health, approve step access when prompted.

Why aren't my steps counting?

Make sure GYAM has access to Health data. Go to Settings → Health → Data Access → GYAM and enable Steps. Also ensure your iPhone or Apple Watch is tracking steps.

Can I change my step goal?

Yes! Tap the settings icon on the main screen to adjust your daily step goal anytime.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

GYAM detects reinstalls. If you try to bypass accountability by uninstalling, you'll need to complete an accountability step before using the app again.

How do I change which apps are blocked?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Blocked Apps" to modify your selection.

Is my data private?

Yes. All your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
